Prior to moving to the Canon City area in September of 2013, Rick and his wife, Mara Jo, were lifelong residents of Indiana. Together they have 4 children, 14 grandchildren. Rick’s work history includes sales and management with Pepsi-Cola Corp. After leaving Pepsi-Cola, he and his wife co-owned Hawkins Custom Cabinet Co. in Indianapolis. He served 6 years as VP and 2 years as president of the Indiana State Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association. Rick’s political experience includes working with the Indiana Republican Party at the grass roots level and serving as an Indiana State Delegate in 2002. After moving to Colorado, he became active in the Fremont County Republican party and served as a PCP for Precinct 11 and a Colorado State Delegate for Fremont County in 2018. E-Mail

Mara Jo was elected to FCRCC as Bonus Member in 2019. She and her husband, Rick, were life-long residents of Indiana prior to moving to the mountains of Cañon City, CO in September 2013. Mara Jo's career history includes 23 years in health-care as a nurse, and 13 years as co-owner/operator of a custom cabinet company. A Constitutional Conservative, she worked at the Republican grass roots level on Indiana state and local campaigns (including that of Mike Pence). She joined the Fremont County Republican Party after moving to Colorado, actively working during the 2018 election for candidates who best represented our Republican values. Her desire is to see Fremont County, conservative-minded citizens work together to effect positive change in our county, state, and nation.   E-Mail
Chris Wood was elected as bonus member of the FCRCC in July 2020. Chris has been a resident of Fremont County for the past 15 years and prior to that was raised in Westcliffe.and Graduated from Custer County High School. Chris worked for the Colorado Department of Corrections for 10 years and now owns his own Pilot Car business.He became active in politics at the age of eight helping his grandfather with the basics of campaigns and has been an active member of the Fremont County Republican Party since 2014 being involved in multiple campaigns and served as a Precinct Commitee Chair. Chris also is the Technology Chair runs the FCRCC Facebook page and Maintains the FCRCC Website   E-Mail
Jennifer Irvine was elected as Treasurer in February 2021.Prior to that Jennifer held the role of Vacancy Committee Chair. Jennifer was raised in rural Fremont County and graduated from Canon City High School. After completing her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, she returned to Fremont County, married her high school sweetheart and completed her master’s degree in Public Administration. Jennifer is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, has worked in private industry and has dedicated the last twenty years of her professional career to public service in local government. She and her husband Derek have two daughters and she actively volunteers in the community and her parish. Jennifer is a lifelong Republican and has served as Fremont County Republican Precinct Committee Chairperson and Colorado State Delegate.

Melissa "Lisa" Hyams is a lifelong Republican. She moved to Colorado in February 2006 to step back from a busy career in the city and slow down a bit. Lisa became involved in our caucus her first election, being a delegate many of her years in Colorado. She has served as a PCP for Precinct 29. Slowing down didn't last very long as she stepped into the role of Executive Director for the Canon City Chamber of Commerce from 2014 to 2017. She sat on many boards and was involved in much of what happens in Fremont County. Lisa has two daughters and four grandchildren. She believes in Fremont County and her desire is to get more people involved in the Republican Party so they have more say over what happens in their own community, state and beyond. Lisa Pascoe is a lifelong Republican. She served in the Naval Reserves for 3 years. She grew up in Canon City and graduated in 1984. We are a 5th generation Canon City family with roots and ties to the original settlers of the 13 colonies. She has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. Her work history highlights include an Area Manager for Walmart, a vehicle trainer for Amazon.com, 11 1/2 years at CDOC. She has 5 children and 17 grandchildren. She has lived and traveled the US. She moved back to Colorado in 2004.
Though a long time Colorado resident (attended Western Colorado University when it was still Western State College), Kay Hunsaker moved to Canon City August of 2019. Hertz Manager was her on again & off again career most of  her life with a 12 year stint being a Nanny. She Loved both positions! Currently, She serve on the Board of Friends of Little Bighorn Battlefield, Co-Editor of the Leadville Elks Newsletter, and many duties with Tri Sigma Sorority. She served as a Fremont County Election Judge during the Primary & General Elections and Co-operated the Trump Store all summer & fall at Republican HQ. She served as PCP for District 11.
Her Husband Randy, is a retired 31yr LAPD officer and enjoys being a Park Ranger at the Royal Gorge Bridge.
John has been a resident in Cañon City since 2005. John retired from industry where his experience included mineral processing engineering, environmental, safety, permit and licensing applications, regulatory compliance, tailings construction and process improvements in copper, uranium and tungsten milling facilities. He is currently Mayor Pro Tem on City Council, representing District 3. He has been active in the community and for FCRCC, including serving as past Vice Chair, Precinct Committee Person, Chair of the Rules Committee, provided technical services and moderated the FCRCC Facebook page. He has served or serves on the City Planning Commission, County Planning Commission, Board member of the Combined Regional Communications Authority and Freemont County E-911 Board. He has been a member of the Executive Search Committees for City Administrator, Cañon City Police Chief and CRCA Executive Director. John served in the U.S. Army 1968
Joe was elected as a Bonus Member in 2021. He grew up in Cañon City, graduated from CCHS in 1968. He attended The College of the Canons which was branch of the Southern Colorado State College (SCSC) in Pueblo and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration, in 1972. He worked for Craddock Development Company as their Controller and VP of Finance for 14 years. He returned to Cañon City in 1988 working as the Accounting Manager at DFC. He purchased the Canon City Cab Company 1990. Sold the Cab Company and married his wife Brenda 1993 and ran for District Two County Commissioner in 1994 and took office in January 1995. He held the office until 2003 when Landslide Larry defeated him by two votes. He worked for Congressmen Doug Lamborn from 2006 until February 2014, when he retired. He has been a registered Republican since 1968 and he and his wife both have been past PCP for Precinct 04 and have been past delegates for the Colorado State Republican Convention. Brenda was FCRCC Secretary for three terms from 1993-1998 and Chairperson for two terms from 1999-2002.
